I'm sure everybody has seen the Bowflex Revolution Home Gym commercials on television. I was recently helping my friend move and we discovered his father's Bowflex home gym in the garage behind some boxes. His father has had some major surgeries the past few years and has been unable to exercise. I convinced my friend to take it with him and set it up in his garage so we could test it out.

At first, it was a little strange getting used to the SpiraFlex resistance from the Bowflex. However, we got the hang of it pretty fast and this machine is killer.

You really can work out every muscle group. My favorite thing to work out is my chest. The chest press with the SpiraFlex resistance is great. It makes negative reps possible without a partner.

After using this machine at my friend's house a few times a week, it makes me wish my gym had one of these. At my gym I am always waiting in line to use the chest fly machine and lat pull-down machine.

I've been searching craigslist for a used Bowflex because if I can find one for a reasonable price, I can quit my gym and stop paying monthly fees to workout.

The Revolution is Definitely worth a try.
