Through utter coincidence a contractor who lived in the apartment in my building got a job overseas and put an ad up on the community board: I snatched my Boflex Revolution XP up for only $1450--the contractor even helped me move it. The fit and finish feels handmade or custom. It doesn't shake or wobble like a Nordictrac or similar lightweight device. And the joints don't squeak. Bowflex must have pretty solid quality control. It's a great time saver getting my glutes, abs, and pecs and flexors done all at the same time. There's even a mild cardio effect from having so many limbs moving at one time. The greatest benefit I've found by far is in active abduction and core training. I can feel my tennis serve getting more and more consistent. The Revolution XP is awesome for developing a stable core, I've never felt anything like it. It's like the mechanical equivalent of a complete protein: I feel everything getting used. If you do 'burst' sports I'd say the Revolution XP is definitely the home gym equipment for you.
