BOWFLEX TREADCLIMBER TC5500: MY NEW ‘BFF’
by VERA

I read that the Bowflex Treadclimber TC5500 is “interactive,” and could help me meet my “specific fitness goals.”
I wasn’t a newcomer to working out. I knew you could change angles and speeds and the time of the workout, and then look at the calorie counter or the timer and decide when I was done.
Then, my Bowflex Treadclimber TC5500 arrived. I think it’s smarter than I am. It has a “G.O. Coach” feature (meaning goal oriented) that really does tailor the workout just for you – and me. It’s as much fun as a video game, with actual goals and even virtual prizes. Pick a destination – the Statue of Liberty or the Space Needle, for example – and the Treadclimber gives you the physical challenges you would need to get there. When you reach certain “landmarks,” the device gives you more options. It’s like getting an “A” in school because you did extra credit. Talk about motivation. Sorry Sony Playstation. I have a new BFF.
The Bowflex Treadclimber 5500 was also really comfortable, due to the longer “foot treadies.” I had never thought of that, but it makes sense, and when you have it, you wonder why someone else didn’t do it sooner. And, Bowflex makes it easy to recruit friends and family, as it stores not only your travels and accomplishments, but also up to three other people.
I’m off to Treadclimb with my TC5500. TransAmerica Tower, here I come.
