When I got it, I was surprised at just how easy the whole thing was to set-up as I was sure it was going to be a pain in the neck. Another surprise was when I noticed the distinct lack of free weights which would save me from having to store the ones I wasn't using but I was afraid of just how effective the whole thing would be without them. Well, I was totally proven wrong on how effective it was going to be as it works great, the resistance is just as good as free weights would be but it doesn't have that extra bulk that the free standing weights has. In fact my Bowflex Revolution home gym gives me one of the best workouts that I have ever had and it takes up less room in my house than some of the other set-ups that I was looking at before getting this.
