Bowflex PR3000 Home Gym Thoughts

by Henery
(Chicago)

I have been lifting weights for about 5 years, and I am in very good shape. I have a Bowflex PR3000 at my house and I use it when I can not make it to my local gym which is about 25 mins away. The biggest misconception is that Bowflex home gyms will get you ripped with a body that can compare to Arnold. The models that are used in the commercials did not get that body from working out on a bowflex. They have a strict diet that consist of proteins and vitamin supplements.
But the truth about bowflex's are that they do give your body a very good workout. If you are looking to get ripped like the models, I would suggest working out with free weights and not a bowflex. If you are looking to loose a little weight around the mid section a bowflex is the perfect fit. I own the Bowflex PR3000, what I like about it the most is that it is very small and compact, and easy to move around. It also offers the user a wide variety of exercises that target numerous parts of the body. To sum things up if you are looking to get ripped get a gym membership, and work out with free weights. If you wanna loose a little bit of baby fat go with a bowflex.
