My Bowflex Power Pro Works!

I have seen Bowflex over the years on TV. Also, during this time, I have put on some significant weight. I needed an exercise option that was very accessible so I decided to give a Bowflex Power Pro a shot.

Well, I found the Bowflex to be extremely rugged. I am a big guy and my Bowflex has stood up to the pounding my body can give it. I have found that I only need to work out 15 minutes at least 4-5 times a week to see real results. I have traded 45lbs of fat for lean muscle in the last 4 months. Going from 295lbs to 250lbs. It feels great.

Needless to say, the ease of use of the Bowflex home gym is the reason. I can focus on different parts of my body throughout the week since switching exercises is so easy. The bottom line is that My Bowflex Works!

Bowflex Power Pro XLT

With my Bowflex Power Pro XLT I can workout to muscle failure with no fear of injury, which gives me maxium results in a short period of time. I do have Gym membership again, just because time is limited at home, due to an infant and two other boys, but the comparison between, you can get a good workout in the gym, but no piece of equipement can even come close to what the bowflex can do.

If you ever need replacement manuals, equipement or parts, bowflex has always been the best source.

No I am not affiliated with Bowflex in any way. I had watched the commercials like everyone else and tried their system. Have been in love with it ever since.

I used to have one of those big gym station machines, took 4 to 5 hours to disassemble and reassemble every time I had to move it. I finally gave it away, and purchased the Bowflex, fold it up in seconds, slide into another room, or back of my pickup take it any where you want to go, and get a powerful workout.

P.S. My Bowflex was under recall, but Bowflex sent me free of charge all of the upgraded components. It had even been damaged in original shipping, with no questions asked Bowflex sent me the new components.

Bowflex truely knows why they have customers and how to treat them.

My Bowflex Power Pro experiences

I have a Bowflex Power Pro and have been using it for one hour a day, six days a week, for the past six months. Although it is a few years old, it had never been used.

So far I have had two part failures. First, while installing the two extra power rods (instructions warn to make sure the screw is tightened firmly) the plastic piece that the screw was going into broke.

Second, the plastic piece on the sliding seat broke, rendering the sliding mechanism useless. This is unfortunate because I do like the results, and design, but the quality of the parts is crap!

My Bowflex Power Pro Home Gym Story

I was first introduced to the Bowflex Power Pro Home Gym while taking part in one of my past favorite activities: watching TV. I was 210 pounds, and a new episode of NCIS was coming on next, which I didn't want to miss. However, before it started, a commercial came on TV. I'm not sure what was different about this commercial, as I had seen thousands that told me how to lose weight. However, I took a long look at myself, and then called the number on the screen. My Bowflex Home Gym arrived very soon after, and that was the moment that literally changed my life.

Since the arrival of my new Bowflex Power Pro, I have been incredibly motivated to actually exercise. The gym feels sturdy, and has an excellent solid, metal feel to it. I am confident that the gym system will hold up for years to come. But back to my story. I started using the gym a few times a week. I increased the load, and coupled it with a few other exercises, and better eating habits. Since the time that my gym arrived a few months ago, I have lost over twenty pounds. But even more importantly, I feel amazing. I have energy, strength, and endurance. I can run in the park with my kids and not become tired. I feel that the Bowflex Power Pro Home Gym has allowed me to take control of my life, and my future.

Bowflex Power Pro Review

I've never been happy with the Bowflex Power Pro. It is constantly needing attention; loose screws, rattles, etc. Like an old Harley! Now the seat bracket broke after I replaced the original w/ a new one due to a recall. I think there have been several recalls on this model due to people being hurt. If I replace this unit, I think I'll look for something more reliable.

I love it except I've had two rods snap and broken pieces went flying across room. I heard the rods are guaranteed for life but I bought second hand. Replacements are very expensive.
