I would describe myself as your typical nerd? tall (6 foot) and started off pretty light (170lbs) or at least, looked light for my height. I had a look around the Internet at a whole heap of reviews before I splashed out on the Bowflex home gym. It was an investment, but I weighed it against a gym membership and realized it was pretty good - especially since it would be around my home and I'd have that guilty reminder if I didn't use it.

So 4 months on, I'm up to 210 lbs now, I changed my diet but not in an unnatural way, it's as if feeling better about my body made me feel better about eating the right things, I?m not on a diet, I'm eating what I want, it just happens to be good foods.

My Bowflex made a huge difference to myself, more confident definitely but more importantly, to me, is I just feel great. I'm stronger then I've ever been and I just feel solid in a really good way.

I'd highly recommend using Bowflex as you'd be very surprised how much difference it can make, and trust me, having it in your home helps so much from a will-power point of view. I've tried the gym route a number of times, and a year and a few thousand dollars down, and I've got nothing to show for it, the Bowflex corrected all that and more. It's there when you wake up and after you get in the routine, you want to get on it, because you'll feel so much better afterwards.

I am very pleased with my decision to buy a brand new Bowflex home gym. I started noticing definite results in just two weeks and have developed a very nicely sculpted and desirable physique. My self confidence has gone up considerable and I feel great health wise. My doctor was very pleased with my amazing progress and my girlfriend has been very supportive.

The Bowflex gym arrived very quickly; the delivery speed was quite faster than I expected. It was also pretty easy to set up. It didn't take that long at all for me to get it out of the box, set it up, and start exercising. The price is also very reasonable for a machine as sophisticated and effective as this.

Over all deciding to buy this home gym was a life changing decision. It has had many positive results that have improved my health and self confidence. I look great and feel great and would recommend anybody who is considering taking steps to improve themselves to invest in a Bowflex home gym. I regularly worked out with my Bowflex home gym, I was an instructor at a local college and used my Bowflex as a stress reliever and for fitness. After 8 months I had increased my neck size to an impressive 18 1/2 inches with regular usage. I was severly injured in a motorcycle wreck which nearly tore my head off. The Doctors believe if it were not for me having used my Bowflex on a regular basis and having such strong neck and chest muscles I would have died or been restricked to a wheel chair at minimum. Is a Bowflex Home Gym Worth the Money?

Investing in a Bowflex home gym: In today’s increasingly busy world, it gets harder and harder to find time to head to the gym for an hour to workout. And don’t forget the commute time it takes to go to and from the gym. Though it’s important to stay in shape (or get in shape if you’re not already), working out regularly at the gym can be a big time sucker. That’s why home gyms such as the various Bowflex models are quite popular.

But are they a good buy?

Bowflex, in particular, is quite expensive when it comes to home gyms. The models with all the attachments you need to work out your legs as well as your upper body cost $800 or more.

It’s true that Bowflex has a credit card you can apply for so you can get your home gym financed and pay it off over several months, or even a couple years, instead of all at once, but as with other credit card offers, you have to worry about interest rates. If you have to finance your Bowflex, you’ll be paying much more in the long run than you would if you bought it straight out.

An alternative is to check Craigslist or Ebay for used home gyms. You can often find good deals this way, though you will probably have to shop locally as most people won’t ship such a large piece of equipment. A perk of doing a local pickup, however, is that you can get a Bowflex home gym that is fully assembled already. That way you don’t have to spend the hours initially to put the home gym together.

But let’s get back to the real issue. You know you can buy one from the company or find a used one online, but is a Bowflex worth the money?

I’d like to give a yes or no answer, but honestly it will depend on you. I’ve owned one Bowflex (and used it for several years with no problem), and I’ve tried out other models from the company as well. As far as parts and materials go, you do get a quality piece of equipment for your money. The Bowflex is more expensive than other home gyms, but it has a long track record of high quality units. If you buy a Bowflex, you know you’ll probably get a better, more durable piece of equipment than something you pick up at Sears that happens to be on special.

However, the best home gym in the world isn’t worth the money if you’re not going to use it.

That’s what you really need to ask yourself, whether you’re looking to pick up a Bowflex or another piece of home fitness equipment. Will you use it, or will it become a fancy clothes hanger stuck down in the basement?

Just as with a gym membership, a Bowflex is only worth the money if you will make use of it. If you are planning to use it regularly and you have a track record of working out steadily, then yes you will get your money’s worth by purchasing a Bowflex. They last for years and you can virtually do a whole body workout with this one machine.

Bowflex home gym = Ease at home

My Bowflex home gym was somewhat easy to put together. My husband and I purchased it because of what his coworkers were saying about the ease of the workouts. After it was assembled, we just had to find a place to put it in the house. Although the Bowflex home gym was sturdy, it was too much work to assemble and disassemble it, so we just found a corner in our room to leave it in.

When it comes to working out our muscles on the Bowflex, the Bowflex offers a lot of different exercises to alternate muscle groups. I mostly wanted this machine to be able to change up my workouts and focus on core muscle groups at one time. The bench is comfy as well, I hate cheap plastic machines, this one really lived up to its promises.

I feel that the bowflex home gym lives up to its promises. As long as you're willing to put in the work and willing to be dedicated to counting reps and putting enough work into it, you should expect to see a great outcome, as with any other sport or workout. I loved the informercials, and the video explanations as to how you can do different exercises. I love that I can do work on my own time and whenever I come home, the bowflex is waiting for me to resume my workout.

My bowflex home gym arrived and immediately I could see that it was very well constructed. I was eager to workout with it and see if it lived up to it's promises which it has by far.

I workout with my bowflex just 3 days a week for 30 minutes a day and Ive already lost several lbs in the last couple weeks and look trimmer than before. Its an amazing machine.

I have recommended the Bowflex to several friends of mine and they all purchased a bowflex and are as happy with their bowflex as I am with mine.

I feel that it is made with top quality materials and will last indefinitely. Its a very solidly built piece of machinery that I expect to last for a very long time.

I don't feel the need to hit the gym anymore as the bowflex home gym has all the exercise I could ever need to hit all my target muscle groups and it gives me a thorough workout.

The amount of money I am saving on gym membership fees will pay for the bowflex over the life of the machine.

There are just too many benefits of owning one of these machines and you need to get one right now. You wont regret it.
