Anyone have a Bowflex body fat scale? Is it any good?

Does anyone have any feedback/experience with the Bowflex body fat scale? I'm in the market for a BIA scale and have been planning on buying a Tanita. Bowflex has a new range of BF scales at Sports Authority and one on their website. They are well priced but I haven't seen any reviews so I don't know how good they are. Any info?

readings seem pretty accurate

I work out 4 times a week, I have 2 workout partners, were all pretty different in body weight, and I carry alittle more muscle mass then the both of them, using the Model Number: MT046 Bowflex scale seemed to give pretty accurate readings on body fat and and muscle mass in comparison between the 3 of us, and I use an alternate (hospital type) weight scale to assure the weight readings on the bowflex was accurate, so we were pretty impressed with it.

Threw ours out

So many defects that I cannot list them all.
Incorrect weight - off by over 60pounds.
Don't move it! - if you move the device, you have to recalibrate it.
Changing batteries - it stops working
Replace it - company replaced it because of acknowledged defects and new device was worse than original.

This is a very complex device that requires lots of work and patience but yields incorrect data.

I also have the Bowflex 5598 BOW and have been happy with it. I have had it for over 3 years.

I am actually going to return ours, it is awful. Will not weigh us when you step on it half the time. Wouldn't recommend.

Scale was off by 6lbs.

Not certain how acurate these units are. I purchased a Bowflex 527 which is the mid range one. The scale was off by 6 lbs. Load cells are not a new technology. I reason if they can't do that correct, How well will the BIA perform. I bought a Tanita BF-683 in replacement.
